The playful fish card is designed with fine details using red, yellow, green and blue. Handmade by fair trade artisans in Nepal, the eco-friendly cards are made using Daphne bark, a sustainable resource in Nepal.
Artisan Group: Bhaktapur Craft Printers For hundreds of year, people in Nepal have used the Daphne or Lokta tree to produce beautiful paper. Because the trees grow easily and rampantly throughout Nepal, it is a sustainable method of paper production. The Bhaktapur Craft Printers is a project run by UNICEF that provides fair trade jobs to low income families as a means to reduce poverty and preserve an important, ancient craft practice. In addition to providing fair wages, they contribute to the local communities by investing in education and health initiatives. | ![]() |
